Navlakha Palace, also known as Rajnagar Palace, is a historic royal palace. Maharaja Rameshwar Singh built this palace, which is around 260 years old and is a prime example of ancient architecture and engineering. Intricate carving work, a stunning structure, and the presence of the earliest Mithila painting all contribute to the site's distinction as a historical wonder. The palace used to be known for its beautifully tiled gardens, ponds, and temple complexes. However, an earthquake that struck it in 1934 resulted in significant loss and serious damage. It still attracts tourists and residents alike due to its outstanding architecture and old world charm.
