The Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary in Chattisgarh is a tropical deciduous forest with the most diverse flora and fauna. More than 600 distinct varieties of medicinal plants and 282 rare animal species can be found in this tiger reserve. Aside from the sanctuary itself, there are a number of other tourist attractions in and around Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary. The majority of the attractions involve surrounding temples, hills, and waterfalls.
