Malhar, in Chhattisgarh, is a treasure trove of historical antiquities and architecture. Due to the preservation of ancient temples, ruins, and excavation sites, this historic town is a significant site. With a beautiful past dating back to around the 4th century BC, remnants of history may still be found liberally scattered around the town. This town is also included on the list of 'Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains of National Importance' maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India because of its exceptional sculptures and historic appeal.
