Jama Masjid is India's largest and most well-known mosque, located in the heart of Old Delhi. It was created between 1650 and 1656 under the reign of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and it took more than 5000 employees to complete this lavish monument. Jama Masjid, one of Delhi's top attractions and greatest locations to visit, attracts a large tourist audience in addition to religious visitors.
