Jantar Mantar, one of the five astronomical observatories established by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur in Northern India, was completed in 1724. Architects, painters, and art historians from all over the world have been drawn to it because of its stunning geometric shape combinations. There are 13 architectural astronomy instruments on the site. The observatory's main function was to create astronomical tables and predict the sun's, moon's, and planets' movements and timings.
