Panchkula, located on the road to Shimla's hills, is known for the Chandels ruins and trekking on the  Morni Hills. Panchkula is recognised for its lush green environment and for being home to Haryana's densest forest zone. This city draws a big number of tourists who come to see the stunning mountain ranges that run through it. The city is also noted for its five historic water canals, which serve the state of Haryana's water needs.
