Amarnath is a Hindu Shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. Every year, Hindu pilgrims travel to Amarnath to worship Lord Shiva. The cave is located at an altitude of 3,888 metres, and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The shrine is accessible only during the summer months, when the snow melt and makes the journey possible.
