Baltal Valley
The Baltal Valley is located in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in the northwestern part of the state, and is bounded by the Pir Panjal Range to the west and the Himalayas to the north. The Baltal Valley is home to the Amarnath Cave, which is one of the holiest Hindu shrines in India. Every year, thousands of Hindu pilgrims visit the cave to offer prayers to Lord Shiva. The valley is also a popular trekking destination, and is known for its scenic beauty.
