In the Pir Panjal Range, at 4,300 feet above sea level, is Zoji La Pass. It is a mountain pass that connects Jammu & Kashmir with Himachal Pradesh. The pass is home to numerous glacial lakes, notably Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri. Brown bears and marmots are among the many types of plants and animals that call it home.
