Known as the jewel of Leh, Tso Moriri is a deep, clear lake surrounded by rugged mountains. It attracts visitors with its azure waters and is home to a variety of wildlife. In the past, Tibetan nomads were drawn to the waters by the nearby hot springs. Now, Tso Moriri is a popular destination for Indian backpackers, who come to camp and hike.
