Chitrakoot, a beautiful city in Madhya Pradesh, is a perfect amalgam of religious, historical, cultural, and archaeological importance. According to legend, Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and his brother Lakshmana spent eleven and a half years of exile in Chitrakoot, making it a revered site for pilgrims. There are a number of tourist attractions in the city that are worth seeing.
