The Jai Vilas Palace is a stunning architectural marvel in Madhya Pradesh. The palace has a notable Renaissance Italian architectural style, with Baroque and Rococo elements, as well as an Indo-Saracenic influence. A part of the palace has been transformed into the Jiwaji Rao Scindia Museum. The museum is home to the Chitrangada Raje Art Gallery and a library with more than 6,200 books. This museum also houses a large collection of historical artifacts, such as swords from the reigns of Mughal Emperors Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb, as well as Rani Laxmibai's shield.
