The Orchha Wildlife Sanctuary provides the perfect getaway for those who are exploring the city's historic sites. While the town boasts of the Bundela dynasty's history and culture, the sanctuary provides visitors with close proximity to nature. Numerous rare species of flora and fauna can be found in this 46 square km long sanctuary. It was founded in 1994 and has been attracting bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts ever since.
