Bathinda is located in the east bank of river Sutlej. The historical city of Bathinda is now emerging as a modern industrial and business hub, and is also emerging as a major tourist destination. Bathinda was historically known as the ‘Jalandhar of the east’. The city’s rich historical legacy is still intact, especially in places with archaeological and historical significance. Bathinda is replete with numerous tourist attractions. The most prominent of these are the Bathinda Fort and Bathinda Road.
