Pathankot is situated where Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir meet, with the river Chakki flowing nearby. The city is a travel hub for the three northern states thanks to its strategic location. Pathankot is frequently used as a rest stop before travelling into the mountains of Chamba, Dalhousie, Dharamshala, Jammu & Kashmir, and deep into the Himalayas. It is located in the scenic foothills of Kangra and Dalhousie making it known for its magnificent scenery as well.
