Bhandasar Jain Temple, built in the 15th century, is one of Bikaner's most popular temples. This two-story Jain temple in Bikaner, popularly known as the Bhandreshwar temple, is composed of red sandstone. It is embellished with frescoes, mirrorwork, and leaf paintings. The temple is said to have been built with 40,000 kg of ghee rather than mortar, which locals claim leaks through the walls on hot days. Bhandasar Jain Temple is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Bikaner, as well as one of the most fascinating tourist attractions.
