Chittorgarh Fort is sprawled across 700 acres and sits on a 180-meter-high hill. The fort is regarded as one of the finest in the country and is known as the 'Pride of Rajasthan State'. Chittorgarh Fort is believed to have been built in the seventh century by the Mauryans, and later Mewar rulers added more structures to it. The Fort echoes tales of courage and heroism, and truly represents Rajput culture and traditions. The Chittorgarh Fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013 due to its outstanding architecture.
