Haldighati is one of the popular tourist destinations in Rajasthan. It is basically a mountain pass on the Aravalli hills and is famous for The Battle of Haldighati. Haldighati is the ideal spot to visit if one is interested in learning about historic battles and heroic soldiers. It is an important historical site where Raja Man Singh of Amber and Rana Pratap Singh of Mewar fought in 1576. The brave soldiers who fought in this fierce battle shed a lot of blood, and the reddened sand still bears witness to their courage.
