The Jaigarh Fort, which shares a structural similarity with Amber Fort, was built to safeguard Amber Fort. The Fort provides a spectacular view of the surroundings and is situated at a height of around 500 feet above sea level. Unlike the other forts in Jaipur, this defensive fort has no particularly beautiful palaces to offer, but its stony and intimidating appearance is undoubtedly impressive. The Jaivana, the biggest cannon on wheels in the world, is the main attraction at this fort.
