A one-of-a-kind museum, the Jaisalmer War Museum was created to honor the accomplishments and sacrifices made by war heroes and to draw attention to their valor. The museum also referred to as JWM, has two information display halls, an audio-visual room, and a souvenir shop. It contains a prominent wall devoted to all Param Vir and Maha Vir Chakra holders. Along with tanks, artillery, and military vehicles, there are also war artifacts and antique equipment on display. The Hunter Aircraft, which made a significant contribution to the defeat of the enemy tank at the Battle of Longewala, is one of the museum's main exhibits.
