Jaisamand Lake is known for being Asia's second largest manmade lake. In fact, before the Aswan Dam in Egypt was built, it used to be the largest artificial lake in Asia. The lake's magnificent marble dam, which features six exquisite cenotaphs and a sacred shrine of Lord Shiva in the middle, is its main attraction. Jaisamand Lake has a courtyard on one end and a pavilion with 12 pillars on the other.
