Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the oldest areas of the Mount Abu mountain ranges and the source of various scenic overlooks with breathtaking vistas. It was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1960 in order to protect the region's flora and fauna, and it is thus a significant eco-tourism destination. It is the only area in Rajasthan where you may see a wide range of orchids. Bengal Tigers and Asiatic Lions are said to have once thrived in this sanctuary, although they were last seen decades ago, according to history. Currently, the most common animals to see are Hedgehog, Indian Hare, Indian Leopard, Langur, Wild Boar, Mongoose, Pangolin, Porcupine, Sambar, and Sloth bear.
