Ganges River
The Ganges River is one of India's most important rivers and is considered as the holiest river. A dip in this river is believed to wash away all sins and aid in the attainment of salvation. The main tourist attraction is mostly the Ghats or the stairs that go to the river at various locations. Every day, thousands of devotees come to these Ghats to dip in this sacred river.
