Guptkashi is a well-known spiritual site in Uttarakhand, with towering snow-capped peaks serving as its backdrop. Devotees believe that when the Pandav brothers sought Lord Shiva to emerge, he first hid at Guptkashi before fleeing farther up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas eventually got their wish. Manikamik kund is the town's primary attraction where two streams from the Ganga and Yamuna converge. The town is a complete package for tourists owing to its wonderful weather, verdant green forests, and mesmerizing views of the Chaukhmaba Range, as well as its fascinating past and traditions.
