Kunjapuri Devi Temple is a sacred temple in Uttarakhand and one of the 52 Shaktipeeths. Legend has it that while Lord Shiva was carrying Sati's burned body, her burned chest fell onto the site of the existing temple. The Himalayan snow ranges and the Bhagirathi valley can both be seen beautifully from the temple. Devotees experience tranquility in their hearts and minds due to the temple's spiritual atmosphere.
